Content Bounce House is a new podcast made by content marketers, for content marketers (and their more technical-minded SEO friends). What’s working? What’s not? How are people structuring their teams? Hear from folks actually leading content teams, in-house and at agencies. The podcast is hosted by Ryan Sargent, Head of Content at Verblio. In addition to being a content marketing nerd, Ryan is also a music nerd, and recorded the show’s sad trombone intro himself. Come bounce ideas around and joyfully nerd out about content marketing. Since the walls are fully inflatable, it’s safe to bang your head against them. Listen to Content Bounce House on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or whatever funky niche podcasting platform is your jam.

Search Intelligence came up with a really interesting PR link building idea: Nintendo's Mario would earn £32K if he was a real-life character.
This PR campaign went crazy and landed 20+ link with this fun research on how much fictive, video-game characters would earn if they were real.
The story got picked up by massive publications such as The Express (DR 89), as well as many gaming industry specialized websites, securing our client dozens of links and placements in quality online publications.
This is how they did it:
✅ They made a list of 50+ most popular video game characters
✅ They found out what their job is in the game, for example Mario is a plumber, Max Payne is a NYPD Detective
✅ Went to salary comparison sites and found out the salary of each video game character, assuming they would be real-life characters and work in their industry
✅ Pac Man came out at the bottom, with earnings of just £15,916 as a security guard, while Handsome Jack from the game Borderlands came out on top with £333,043 as a CEO
✅ They wrote a nice press release about their findings, and sent it to hundreds of journalists who cover gaming and tech
✅ The story got picked up by many online publications, including the super-high-tier Express, helping us secure dozens of links for our client on quality websites related to games.
